So much to do...

I've heard many home owners say there is so much paper work to be done when purchasing a home -- and it's true. The amount that there is, isn't really the problem, it's the language. Tom and I sat and read through our condo contract the other night and it was just too much. Lots of jargon that I just don't understand. Which is where the lawyer comes in -- and I tell you there are about 100 people involved in this process!! Lawyers, real estate agents, developers, etc. Plus all the inspectors, engineers, and builders. Really it's just a lot to understand/handle.

But this is what today's horoscope says: Things are well on their way to solidifying -- be confident in what you've done.

So i'm taking that as good news -- b/c buying a house/condo is a pretty big decision (and I know i shouldn't be taking advice from my horoscope, but the damn thing is ALWAYS right!).

Right now Nov 2nd seems so far away, but I'm sure it will fly by. Especially b/c there is so much going on in that time (concerts, weddings, trips, baby showers). I just can't wait to move in and decorate (especially b/c the new Ikea catalog came the other day!!)

That's about all for now.. things are pretty slow. I'm going to see if we can get some pictures of the condo this weekend (just so we can track it from start to finish).

hm... i posted on your other blog, but i thought that you might not see it, so i'm posting on this one, too. :| yeah, i definitely hear ya on all the paperwork. closing took forever on our house b/c of all of the paperwork and inpections, etc. although i'm not too fond of the area that we live in, it makes me never want to move again b/c i don't want to have to go through all of the hassle!
