Tom and I have officially booked our anniversary trip!
We will be flying out of Chicago on Friday June 29th and arriving in Prague on Saturday June 30th. We will stay in Prague for 4 nights. From there we are taking a 4 hour train ride from the Czech Republic to Austria. We will be staying in Vienna from Wednesday July 4th until Sunday July 8th.
We got our packet from the airline we booked through (Austrian Air) which has confirmations for hotel, rail and plane so we are all set!
I have a major list of things to research and buy before we leave (in 31 days!). We're also still waiting on Tom's passport, I have to admit I am a little worried but confident because he gave it plenty of time.
If anyone has any tips on traveling abroad please feel free to share them!

We are still waiting on Jonathan's passport too and we are leaving Saturday! Its been 13 weeks since he sent it in!
Some advice. Gypsys are real and a pain in the ass. Both times I went to Europe we have had issues with them. If you have money/anything important in your pockets and are in a crowd (on a bus or metro etc) keep your hands in your pockets! They try to confuse you and then they steal from you, they are really good at it.
Also, I had major issues with jet lag. If you are super tired when you get up in the morning to do sightseeing I suggest just get your rest and do sightseeing in the afternoon- the sights aren't as neat when your exauhsted!
