A minor freak out

Ok, so we move in 23 days. 23! that's it. 3 and 1/2 weeks. Time has FLOWN by. And yesterday i will admit i had a minor freak out (sorry about that mom). I've been so excited that the actual anxiety of moving and packing and living with a boy and being a homeowner finally caught up with me. That on top of course the scary financial aspect and planning how to decorate, what to buy and setting up all the utilities and even house warming parties is just a lot to take in.

I'm not having cold feet by any means, i'm still very excited about the whole thing, but it is such a big step that of course i'm going to be anxious. Plus i'm a planner (even professionally that's what I do), so i want to know by the time we move in exactly all the stuff i need to buy -- and of course i know there are TONS of things i'll forget, but i want to know as much as possible so i can go get it, set it up and be done. Because we're moving in right before the holidays and Q4 (fourth quarter of the year, Oct - Dec) is the busiest time for me at work.

But Tom and I talked about a lot of stuff yesterday and I feel more comfortable about where things are at. Just today I set the date for when the living room furniture can be delivered, so that i can mark off my list of things to do.

What i'm getting frustrated with though is the internet thing, i'd really like to go with AT&T b/c their rates are much better than ComCast, but i can't find anywhere on the site that specifically tells me you need to have an active phone line to have AT&T DSL... anyone know the answer to that?!?! If so please let me know (b/c I don't really want to have to pay for a landline when we prefer to just use our cell phones).

One thing Tom & I learned this weekend was that we both have expensive taste... we found glasses & silverware we like but of course they're way to expensive and we can't find anything similar anywhere (we looked at Crate & Barrel). We might give in on the silverware b/c after looking other places it doesn't seem to badly priced, but the glasses are a no go. Target had some good options, but Bed Bath & Beyond sucked.

So those are my thoughts for the week... probably won't write anymore until Tom & I go back out to the condo this weekend (hopefully it'll look even better than last time).

Toodles...
