After living in Oak Park for three months you all will be happy to know that i successfully parallel parked for the first time. I'm not saying I had un-successful attempts before I just wouldn't do it. I'd drive around until I found two open spots (or an end spot) that I could just pull into.
Cheers to me for conquering this... I think the reason it went so smoothly is because every time Tom does it I would pay super close attention.

hey! this doesn't have anything to do with your post (although i'm glad you finally parallel parked!), but i was wondering, if you don't mind my asking: how much did your dining room curtains cost? i recently bought some fabric and made my own for our kitchen that are those exact type and i'm wondering if it was cheaper or not. thanks! (and your condo looks amazing! you did such a great job decorating!)
